Behavioral Interviewing

BEHAVIORAL INTERVIEWING

“Hire for Attitude, Train for Aptitude”

Employers often choose Behavioral Interviewing because it is a more precise method geared to extract specific examples, insights, experiences, skills, thought processes, decision-making, management style, relationship abilities, and individual characteristics of the applicant. The logic in selecting this type of interview is based on that future performance and behavior is reflected by past performance and behavior.

Behavioral interview questions require the applicants to be highly-focused and prepared to answer open-ended questions with concise, in-depth, and specific  examples highlighting their expertise and value.  Behavioral interview instruction  allows for increased confidence and higher interview success rate.
